The crafting skill allows the player character to create and repair items. Repairing equipment can be performed anywhere, as long as the player character has a hammer.
The creating of items involves the activities of:
Forging - requires a hammer and smith tongs and a crafting level between 50-100, depending on the item. | |
Melting - requires smelting tongs and levels 25, 50, 75 and 100 for smelting iron, silver, gold and thorium ingots respectively. | |
Mining - requires a pickaxe and 20 crafting. | |
Treasure Hunting - requires a shovel and level 15. | |
Sharpening - requires a grinding stone and 25 crafting. | |
Cooking - requires a fireplace and level 20. | |
Brewing / Pressing wine - requires a Wine Press and level 35, 45 and 55. |
Manual training[]
The skill can be trained by repairing equipment and smelthing ingots. At level 75, weapons and armour can be improved beyond 100 durability. Combined with high mercantile, disposition and low mercantile merchant, money invested in bought can be earned back or the skill can be trained at small loss in gold.
