Merre is one of the miners stuck in the Shadow Song Mine due to the Mage's sudden interference. He is responsible for loading the pit barrels; both Porim and Karick are his subordinates, obediently attending to the tasks that Merre assignes them. Merre seems quite content that someone, at last, is going to solve the issue with the pestering rats. He is also the one who will suggest using soap in order to remove the helmet from Karick's head. As a person, Merre seems surprisingly restraint and laconic.
